Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of https://www.dilimmigration.com (the “Website”) and the purchase and use of any digital products sold by DIL Immigration Ltd. (“DIL Immigration”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing the Website or purchasing/using any digital product from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Website or purchase our products.
1) Who we are
Business name: DIL Immigration Ltd.
Email: support@dilimmigration.com
Location/Jurisdiction: Ontario, Canada
Website: https://www.dilimmigration.com
2) Digital products covered by these Terms
Our products are digital in nature and may include, without limitation:
immigration templates (e.g., reference letter templates, checklists)
datasets and analysis (including data obtained via Access to Information/ATIP requests and/or public sources)
guides, one-pagers, and pathway summaries
other downloadable resources (PDF, DOCX, XLSX/CSV, ZIP, etc.)
3) No legal advice and no consultant-client relationship
All digital products and content sold or provided through the Website are for general informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice.
Purchasing a digital product does not create a consultant-client relationship. A consultant-client relationship is formed only if we explicitly agree to act for you and you sign a written retainer/engagement agreement (and pay any required fees), as applicable.
4) Ordering, delivery, and access
Payment: Orders must be paid in full before delivery/access is provided. Payments are processed through third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe).
Delivery method: Digital products are delivered electronically (for example via download link on the thank-you page, by email, and/or through your account downloads area if enabled).
Access issues: If you experience trouble accessing a download, contact us at [support@dilimmigration.com]. We will make reasonable efforts to provide access, including by re-sending the download link or providing an alternate delivery method (such as email), where appropriate.
5) License and permitted use
Unless we state otherwise on the product page, all digital products are licensed (not sold) to you on a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable basis, subject to these Terms.
Permitted use (default license):
You may use the product for your personal use and/or internal business use (e.g., within your own organization), as applicable to your purchase.
You may edit a template for your own use.
Prohibited use:
You may not resell, redistribute, share, publish, upload, or make the product available to others (including posting to websites, forums, groups, Telegram/WhatsApp, shared drives, or “template libraries”), whether for free or for payment.
You may not claim the product as your own work.
You may not create derivative products intended for resale that are substantially based on our materials (unless we explicitly grant you written permission).
If you want to use our products for broader commercial redistribution or team licensing beyond internal use, contact us for written permission and/or a separate license.
6) ATIP data and dataset-specific terms
Where products include datasets, tables, or analysis sourced from ATIP responses and/or public sources:
Source and nature: Data is provided “as received” and/or “as compiled/analysed” by us for convenience and informational purposes.
No guarantee: We do not guarantee that datasets are complete, current, error-free, or suitable for your particular purpose.
Updates: Immigration policies and datasets may change; purchased datasets may not be updated unless the product explicitly includes updates.
No official status: Our datasets/analysis are not official government publications and should not be treated as such.
Use responsibility: You are responsible for validating any information before relying on it for decisions.
7) Pricing, taxes, and currency
Prices are shown in [CAD] unless stated otherwise. Taxes may apply depending on your location and the tax rules that apply to digital products. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or charges applicable to your purchase.
8) All sales final and refunds
Because our products are digital downloads, all sales are final and we do not offer returns or exchanges.
No refunds: We do not provide refunds once purchase is completed and access to the digital product has been provided.
Delivery/access issues: If a download link does not work or you cannot access the product, we will work with you to provide access (including re-sending the link or alternate delivery such as email). This is the remedy for access issues.
9) Chargebacks and fraud prevention
We reserve the right to suspend access to downloads, refuse service, or cancel orders in cases of suspected fraud, misuse, or chargebacks, where permitted by law.
10) Intellectual property
All Website content and digital products (including text, graphics, branding, templates, datasets as compiled/organized by us, and design) are owned by DIL Immigration Ltd. or licensed to us, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
11) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Website or products.
Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.
You assume all responsibility for how you use the products and any decisions you make based on them.
12) Third-party links and services
The Website or products may reference third-party links, tools, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or privacy practices. Links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.
13) Privacy
Your use of the Website is also subject to our Privacy Policy: https://dilimmigration.com/privacy-policy/
14) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes. Continued use of the Website or products after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
15) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that any disputes will be handled in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
